Garden Offices are increasingly becoming more popular and there are many good reasons why. According to the Mirror: The number of people working from home has increased by a fifth in the last ten years to reach a record 1.5m, a new study shows.  An analysis of official figures by the TUC to mark National Work From Home Day reveals that nearly a quarter of a million (241,000) more people work from home than a decade ago. And the biggest growth in the trend has been among women with 35% (157,000) more working from home in 2015 than in 2005. Union leaders urged bosses to be more flexible to let employees work from home to reduce commuting costs and help people cope with caring and childcare responsibilities.

Working from home is a perfect solution for a lot of families:

  • No commuting time.
  • The school run.
  • Not wasting annual leave due to home delivery’s, school appointments etc.
  • You can be flexible about when you work and when you take breaks.
  • Savings on childcare and travel to work costs.
